DB HEALTH CHECK CONTROLS 1- DAILY



 Dba's have to control database performance and generated logs daily, weekly and monthly. These controls provide database health check. You could control all Oracle database versions and other data types in these ten steps.

  1. All Database instances Running & Up Control
  2. All Database Services ( listener, crs, emconsole, data guard status ) Running & Up Control
  3. Check Current Session Or Active Session Count
  4. Check the alert log for an error
  5. Check tablespace usage and free space for Data and index tablespaces
  6. Check the Top session using more Physical I/O
  7. Check the number of log switch per hour
  8. How much redo generated last 24 hour
  9. Check any session blocking other sessions
  10. Check disk spaces , archive directories, utl file directories, oracle home.
